Week 1 has come to a close, and we already have a huge range of scores for the table.

I feel this post should be known as "How not to play this game - be me". I've already used my wildcard to try and put in a team capable of closing the gap. As Richard posted, he's taken top of the league with 55 points whilst I'm sat down in last with a mere 24 points. However, we still have 37 games left to play so everything is literally all still to play for.

Really poor start... I'm also tempted to play the WC, but will hold off for now

Luckily my Man City lads helped me salvage a frustrating first week.

I have a team full of great players who didn't get their laces tied properly this week. Now I'm stuck wondering about transfers and the formation. Being in the middle as I am, I think I'll possibly leave things as they are and hope my players pull their socks up in week 2.

Nice, 3rd! Adrian delivering the goods as usual.

My two most expensive players (Hazard and Sterling) didn't do much. Should I give them time or switch one of them for a cheaper option? Hmm...

Hazard will shine, don't worry. Sterling I wouldn't be so sure of.

Terrible with predictions, terrible with fantasy football. I hate opening weekend. I'm going back to my beloved Championship.

You think? I reckon I'm better off with Sanchez, or even a cheaper option like Payet.

Chelsea fan says Chelsea player will be the best. Draw your own conclusions. I'd take Payet over either personally, his upcoming fixture list seems pretty good.

Solid opening gameweek i guess, getting up to fourth. Messed up doing my transfer for this GW though...

Saving my wildcard until transfer window closes. Shaqiri is only 7.0, might switch him and Payet in for Sterling and Hazard respectively.

I've gone for two Liverpool defenders in my starting XI this week because they're playing Bournemouth, am I being too confident here?

Made one transfer as making two would cost me 4 points. I need to hold onto the points more than have a radically different first 11 so early on.

So after putting Adrian in my team last week after having Courtois sent off, and what goes and happens this week? Bloody Adrian gets sent off >.>

Now put Sergio Romero in goal in place of Adrian, watch him go and get sent off next week.

Having Payet as captain instead of Rooney paid off.

Yeah, well Hazard will 100% tear City apart tomorrow, 3-0 win for us with Hazard getting all the goals.

(Likely won't happen, but it'd be great for my team)

I trust Hazard enough to not only keep him, but also keep him as my captain. We play West Brom next week so hopefully he'll find his stride.

I've still got my transferred player to come tomorrow, fingers crossed for a few more points.

Keep the faith .. I think he stays, but the captains armband is elsewhere .. for the time being.

Made a transfer already and depending on tomorrow's result, maybe time for another as well.

16 points this week, average is 31. Awful. Highest scorer is Kane with 4 points because he was my captain, keeper sent off, zero goals, clean sheets or assists from the rest. Just got Clyne and Lovren to save the day with a clean sheet and hopefully goal/assist.

Midfield is where my points come from :(

Hooray! My gamble of getting in two Liverpool defenders paid off! Lovren with 8 and Clyne with 6, doesn't exactly make up for the awful weekend but I'll take it.
